How divine to welcome a surprise —
a few weeks ago this impressive and dynamic book arrived from England.
As I browsed through it, I recalled an enervating visit from Alistair,
the author, and his rambunctious assistant Liam a few years ago.
They hailed from the prestigious Central Ste. Martins in London and had come all the way out to East Hampton to have a look at my
Comme des Garçons clothes and talk fashion
As I was leafing through the book, admiring its unique
(scholarly but not boring) take, I came upon this:
and was delighted to see the good old days captured again.
In retrospect, those days were really good and fashion, in a different world, was actually fashion
